Stock market WhatsApp group
If you came here looking for a stock market WhatsApp group to join, we should say it straight away: ALFA Finder does not run one. Our alerts are delivered on Telegram. What follows is what you get there instead, why it is built that way, and what SEBI says about the WhatsApp groups that offer stock tips.
What people want from a WhatsApp group, and what we send
Most people join a stock market group to hear about something important before everyone else does. The most important news about a listed company is usually what the company itself files with the exchange: quarterly results, a large order, a fund raise, a promoter buying or selling shares, a director resigning. ALFA Finder reads every one of those filings on NSE and BSE and sends the ones about your stocks to you, within seconds of publication, with a short summary and the original document. This is a real alert from the feed:
Time Technoplast's Saudi subsidiary won an exclusive one-year supply contract worth Rs. 35 Crore (USD 3.68 Million) from Methanol Chemicals Company (CHEMANOL). The order covers industrial packaging products such as drums, jerry cans and IBCs.
Order value: ₹35.00 Cr · Period: Within one year
Why Telegram and not WhatsApp
ALFA Finder alerts went out on WhatsApp too until August 2026; since then they are Telegram only. On Telegram each alert can carry buttons, such as Add to Watchlist and Report Error, the bot has a menu with your watchlist, plan and help, and some plans add private members' groups. Telegram is free on Android, iPhone and desktop, and you can keep it alongside WhatsApp.
The alerts come from a bot in your own private chat, not a group. Nobody else sees your watchlist, there is no admin forwarding posts, and your phone number is not on show to a few hundred strangers.
What SEBI says about stock tip WhatsApp groups
On 22 October 2026 SEBI published a caution to investors against stock tips offered through invitation-only WhatsApp groups (press release 65/2026). It describes unregistered operators posing as market experts, members planted to post fake profit screenshots, and the message that "the old group was banned, join our new one" as a red flag. SEBI's advice: do not join such groups, do not install trading apps they recommend, and deal only with SEBI-registered intermediaries.
ALFA Finder gives no tips and no calls. Every alert is a filing the company itself made, with a link so you can read it yourself.
