Cochin Shipyard Capacity Expansion: ₹1,570 Cr Investment
Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) received cabinet approval to develop a state-of-the-art Ship Repair Facility at Vadinar, Gujarat, with a ₹1,570 Crore investment. CSL will invest ₹920 Crore in infrastructure, including two large floating docks, and operate the facility. The project, slated for completion in 36 months, targets repairs for large commercial and foreign-flagged vessels up to 300m.
